Mablethorpe's Festival of Bathing Beauties
The Mablethorpe & Sutton Tourism Forum has secured funding for this years Festival of Bathing Beauties the longest and most unique Coastal Art festival in Europe, which uses the coastal landscape as its canvas and the beach huts as its visual and performing art spaces.
The Forum is also working on a funding bid to develop the festival over the next three years with an international art strand to widen its appeal to international artists and visitors and extend the festival into a weeklong event. We are also looking to the private sector for investment particularly in the production of a larger brochure and hospitality with the press.
Last year Mablethorpe's Festival of Bathing Beauties attracted not only regional TV coverage also national TV and radio interviews which were heard from far as Canada & Dubai.

This years festival which is on the weekend of the 20th & 21st September is set to be even bigger than last year with a stage on the beach, more contemporary performance art, art trails and art workshops for community groups to produce artwork for the parade on Saturday evening.
